Voting Rules

Postby mojoman » February 27th, 2011, 7:06 pm

Any voting member of the forum may propose a vote. To do so, simply request it in the community discussion section.

Any member of the group "voting members" may partake in any vote. In order to become a member of the group "voting members" you have to have been member of the board for at least one month (contact the team and they'll simply add you to the group).

Voting is normally done by simple majority, i.e. the candidate with the largest number of votes wins the vote. In case of a tie a run-off is done with the top two candidates. The exception is voting on banning a member to the caves or booting a custodian from the job. Such votes always have three options; yes; no; indifferent. In order for a member to be sent to the caves or a custodian to be booted from the job an absolute majority (i.e. 51%+) must say so.

Polls stay open for three days. If nomination is required, it runs for a week prior to the voting.
Seriously, Stable is for senior citizens and Sid is for kids. Be a man and run Testing.
