Is this a problem considering its the changed distro that I'm on. the one I want to make a iso file from ---,Refracta Installer will install the operating system to hard drive from
a running live-CD or live-USB session --the distro is on my hard drive not a CD or live, usb session

You would use refracta snapshot to make an image of your running / current linux system.
then use the installer to install it
