dist-upgrade squeeze to wheezy hang nfs

Postby philm » November 30th, 2015, 4:16 pm

1) I tried to upgrade my NFS server from squeeze to wheezy but apt-get upgrade && apt-get dist-updgrade hangs with :

initscripts : Breaks: nfs-common (< 1:1.2.5-3) but 1:1.2.2-4squeeze3 is to be installed

2) the command apt-get -o Debug::pkgProblemResolver=yes dist-upgrade
shows the following issue:
Holding Back nfs-common:amd64 rather than change rpcbind:amd64

It appears that from wheezy there is no portmap package anymore (portmapper seems to be included with rpcbind), that's why "they" hold nfs-common

... I'm stuck , what would you do in that case
a) remove nfs-common nfs-kernel-server
b) is the "--ignore-hold" option safe with dist-upgrade ?
thank you in advance,
