nm-applet front end???

Postby Liss » January 19th, 2018, 4:33 pm

What's the name of the default front end for nm-applet in Debian XFCE called?
Whatever it is, I need to install it.

I'm trying to turn Raspbian (Raspberry Pi Foundation's fork), on a Raspberry Pi 3, into a more default Debian with XFCE.
For the life of me I can't understand why they use LXDE and mess with Debian so much but they do, and it's annoying.
I know Debian is available for armhf but installation is a pain, and it's missing some RPi specific things.
nm-applet (NetworkManager Applet 1.4.4) is installed (and working I guess) but the icon in my system tray looks very old style Gnome and most importantly doesn't work.
My wifi is still working as I'm online but I can't configure it with the applet.

Just the name of the thing would be a great start.

Looks like it's in the gnome-applets package now, but I'm not certain.
